Rich or poor, our value is the same in God’s eyes. He values our heart, our souls, our intentions. He notices our everyday actions, small and large. If we aren’t living the way we should, it doesn’t matter how much wealth we have. That wealth won’t save us in the end.
We must learn to value what God values. Kindness, love, friendship, forgiveness, and compassion. Reverence, humility, obedience, and repentance.
We don’t have to be perfect, but we can try to walk as uprightly before our Father as we can. He knows our hearts better than anyone else. If we are struggling, He will always help us if we ask.
