He knows your name.

The story of Zacchaeus in the Bible has always stuck with me since the first day that I read it, for some very important reasons. But first, let’s recap the story.

Zacchaeus was of small stature. He wanted to see Jesus, he wanted to meet Jesus. He was unable to see Jesus because of the large crowd, so he climbed a tree to see the Lord.

When Jesus came by, He looked up, saw Zacchaeus, and said unto him: “Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down: for today I must abide at thy house.”

It goes on to say that Zacchaeus made haste, came down, and received the Lord joyfully.

There are a few important lessons to remember in this story:

1. The Lord knew Zacchaeus’ name, though they had never met before.

2. The Lord knew exactly where Zacchaeus was.

3. The Lord knew that Zacchaeus was seeking Him.

Although there are billions of people on this planet, every single person on this planet is important to Christ.

He knows your name. He knows who you are. Make haste to seek Him, and you will receive the Lord joyfully.

Wishing you a beautiful day!
